Fifty parallel negotiations and no system of record
Stock nearing expiry either goes back to the supplier or gets disposed of — and the difference is a chain of emails.
When products are about to expire, the company asks the supplier to take the goods back. That means sending a sequence of emails to the supplier, all handled by a manager. In some months this ran across fifty suppliers at once.
Because there was no tracking system, the state of each negotiation lived in a mailbox. Monitoring where things stood — and running any analytics over outcomes — was effectively impossible.
Sequences that send themselves and replies that get read
The platform runs the outreach, interprets what comes back, and reports on the whole pipeline.
Email sequences go out to suppliers automatically on the schedule the returns process requires, so no negotiation stalls because a manager was busy elsewhere.
Incoming replies are analysed with AI to determine where each negotiation actually stands, and the results feed an analytics dashboard covering every open and closed return.
